The experiences from the first car were taken into account in the design of the second car, the FSRTE02. This car received a prize for its original design and took part in the dynamic events of the competition for the first time in UK and Italy. Unfortunately the reliability was lacking during the endurance races. In this year it was opted to change the name of the team to University Racing Eindhoven.
