URE08

The main target of the URE08 was to reduce a lot of weight compared to the URE07. In order to do that, a full carbon fiber monocoque was used. Other changes to the car included a new battery pack assembly and smaller wheels. In total, the weight was reduced by 45 kg compared to the URE07, a reduction of 18%. The URE08 competed in FSUK, FSG and FSS. At FSS, the URE08 earned an 1st place overall on the static event, and also won the acceleration event.
